Keith Thomas • CEO

Keith Thomas is a proven entrepreneur and was most recently CEO of Vector Innovations, which was backed by a number of well-regarded venture firms and successfully exited. He has led a number of large-scale projects, restructuring companies in 3 countries at New York-based Tandon Capital, managing strategy and operations projects at Booz Allen & Hamilton and completing corporate finance transactions at Citibank in the US and Europe. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and a Governor of the University of Toronto. He holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University, an M.A. in Economics and a B.A.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Toronto.

Darren Anderson, PhD • President

Darren Anderson, PhD was the founding President of Vive Crop Protection and is a member of Vive's Board of Directors and was re-appointed President in May 2017. Dr. Anderson previously was Vive's Chief Technology Officer and oversaw the development of Vive's Allosperse® Delivery Technology, which was Highly Commended for Best New Formulation Innovation at the 2012 Agrow Awards. Dr. Anderson also led Vive's regulatory affairs and communications activities, and successfully obtained regulatory approval for the first products containing Allosperse with the US EPA. He is the author of 13 issued patents, 44 pending applications, 10 refereed papers, and over 40 conference presentations and publications. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Toronto as an NSERC Doctoral Fellow.

Paul Thomson, PhD • VP Product Development

Paul Thomson, with 27 years in the Ag Business, is focused on overseeing the Product Development activities at Vive Crop Protection. Dr. Thomson held a variety of R&D and Business Development positions at Chemtura Corporation and Arysta LifeScience, most recently as the European Director of R&D for Arysta. With his broad experience in Crop Protection R&D Dr. Thomson’s will be responsible for expanding the utility of our technology to expand Vive’s product portfolio of innovative solutions for the Ag Industry. He holds a Doctorate in Chemistry and an M.B.A. from McMaster University.

Tony Zatylny • VP Sales and Marketing

Tony Zatylny, with 32 years of commercial experience in Ag Business, is focused on developing sales and marketing activities for Vive Crop Protection. Most recently Mr. Zatylny spent four years as Director of Marketing for AMVAC Chemical Corp., following a role as Global Product Manager for Arysta Life Science. With his broad industry experience Mr. Zatylny’s primary responsibility will be working with customers and partners to position and support Vive’s products. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture (Plant Science) from the University of Manitoba.
